Minimum driver age
Drivers must be at least 21 years of age under the terms published by Bhagwati Car Rentals. Check that the proposed driver meets the requirement before requesting a confirmed vehicle.
Driving licence and experience
The published terms require an original valid driving licence and at least one year of driving experience. Confirm the identification and driving documents needed for your booking with the team, including any requirements relevant to an international licence.
Traffic signs and road use
Guests must follow applicable traffic rules and posted speed limits. Limits can vary by road and location; do not treat a single number in a travel guide as permission to drive at that speed everywhere. Use authorised parking and follow local access directions.
Prohibited vehicle use
The published rental terms prohibit driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on beaches, and racing or rally use. A Thar or SUV booking does not change those conditions. Discuss any unusual route or planned use with the team before confirmation.
Rental cycle
Vehicles are rented on a 24-hour cycle according to the existing terms. Agree the pickup and return dates and times in advance so the team can confirm the rental period and total amount for the requested booking.
Return grace period and delays
The published return grace period is one hour; delays beyond that may incur an hourly charge. Ask the team to confirm the applicable charge and contact them before the agreed return if plans change. An extension must be discussed rather than assumed.
Fuel, deposits and related policy
Read the rental policy for the existing fuel-level, security-deposit, parking and assistance information. Keep the vehicle condition and fuel record made at handover available for the return inspection.
